While it may have been more interesting to start a blog at the beginning of my wedding planning, I didn't actually get around to it until now: 5 days before the wedding! I'm sure there are a few last minute details that I could and should be tending to, but right now I am enjoying learning how to navigate this site.
I'm not sure what I'll be writing about in this blog, but hopefully I'll be able to keep this up for awhile and provide reading enjoyment for at least my mom. :)
Yesterday was my super fun yet classy and sophisticated bachelorette party! I didn't know what I wanted to do for my bach party, (I knew what I did not want to do), but my fabulous maid and matron know me so well and picked activities that were right up my alley.
We started the day, New Year's Day, with tea and scones at Blu on the top of the Pfister. SO cute and fancy! It was still light outside so we had a great view of the city, there was a harpist playing in the background, and the room itself was decorated in my wedding colors. Picture perfect setting! Not to mention, I couldn't have asked for better company.
Tea time was followed by drinks and gifts (I, err, Andy, was spoiled) and then we headed to Balzac for dinner. We hit up Brady Street for a bit after dinner and then ended the night with some quality girl talk and treats at Maggie's. Thank you, wonderful friends, for a fabulous bachelorette party!
